Restoration Begins...
The parts from the donor car were in a bit of a state when they arrived. Hardly surprising since the donor car was a 1991 Ford Sierra.
This was a nasty, messy task. Parts were stripped, degreased, sanded and painted before being put back together again.
The first thing tackled was the propshaft. This was in a right state but it didn't take long before it was looking somewhat healthier. See the photos
After
sorting the propshaft, we started looking at the callipers. Thought this
would be as easy as the prop but how wrong were we? The calipers took
an absolute age to sort out as they were in a really bad state but wow,
see the difference now
